I have always enjoyed painting and drawing from a very young age and the inspiration for my work comes from my travels and also my surroundings. I mainly paint in pastels and oils.
Having lived in Australia for a number of years, the colours of the outback has contributed to my use of vibrant colours. Family holidays have taken me to many parts of the world including India, Nepal, South East Asia and the Middle East where all the vibrancy of daily life captivates me and I enjoy communicating my experiences through my paintings.
Having also grown up by the sea, I like painting beach scenes especially with kids enjoying the sun and the sand.
I currently live in the beautiful county of Hampshire and am a practising artist. I attend the Crossbarn Art Group in Odiham and my art teacher Jamel Akib has been a huge support and encouragement in my art. I exhibit regularly at the Crossbarn Art, Fleet Art Society and Odiham Art Society exhibitions. I am also an exhibiting member of the Farnham Art Society.
